ISAT Week Day 1

This week we have ISAT. Today the teacher said that recent studies show that chewing gum helps students do well on a test. So she handed out yellow chewing gum, it was very funny. A girl in my class was frowning the whole day, the only time she smiled was when she got the gum. She was making loud chewing noises it was disturbing. The test seemed a little easy for me. We did the math session today. Have you had any hard tests in 3rd Grade?

Clay pots

I made clay pots today with my friends ! It all started out when i was digging a hole in my yard. Then, my friend Lexi came over to play. She helped me make the hole deeper. Then we saw one of our neighbors Maddy come over and then we noticed that the soil in my yard was clay soil. So Maddy thought that we should make pottery out of the clay and then after the clay dried we could paint it. So, Lexi started digging more and I would take the clay stuck on the shovel and make a pile. After that Lexi got tired of digging and helped Maddy with the pottery. So I had to do the digging. Then I thought we dug the hole deep enough so I joined Maddy and Lexi to help with the pottery. We made cups, lids, plates, a banana, a turtle and a “mud ” man. Then we lost interest and Maddy went home. Lexi and I made a few more pots and then Lexi left. I made a HUMONGOUS pot and then was about to leave it to dry on my playset but then daddy came out and said it was going to rain so I said just put it in the little clubhouse above us, but daddy said the wind might blow the rain through the windows. I said lets move them to the garage. So we put it in the wheelbarrow and moved them to the garage and put them on car mats. I am going to paint them and upload the photo to my blog.

P.S . My mom told my dad that the clay soil was put to good use at last since her vegetable plants didn’t grow well in it.

Brrrrr! I’m cold ! not because it is cold here but, because mom and dad said that during summer break we might be going to Alaska! I am not sure of it, but I think we are . Would you be excited to go there ? I would because once the temperature there reached -80 degrees Fahrenheit.I am not very definite that I am going there but if I do I will send you pictures.

Santa claus is coming to town ! Really ?

Sing to the tune of “Rudolph the red nosed reindeer” You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen , Comet and and cupid and Donder and Blitzen but do you recall the most famous reindeer of all, Rudolph the red nosed reindeer had very shiny nose, and if he had a really shiny nose, why do people have to say Santa is real ? Just because kids want presents, why do they make Santa up ?

Why don’t they say mom & dad Claus ? I hope everyone that reads my blog is not a kid ,because if you are a kid you will say Santa is real and erase everything that I wrote .

Well I just came here to tell you that SANTA IS NOT REAL !

Interesting stuff I’m doing

Hi everybody ! I have a lot of fun things I am doing. I have an agency called the secret N.S.B. detective and spy agency and almost everyone wants to be in it! I think I might be popular. In the summer or spring I am going to open up a new club called the eco club.I also am going to open up a learning school so kids don’t forget their school work.I also have opened up a caterpillar newspaper which the teacher really likes. I need to make a new one for December because I make monthly papers. I will be sending you e-mails about what is going on. If you have any suggestions e-mail me back. That’s all. I will have more interesting things later to tell you. But now I have to go. Bye !

Why Do People Believe In Santa /St. Nicholas ?

Merry Christmas Everyone ! That doesn’t mean people have to get Santa in it ! Every Christmas kids say “ What is Santa going to get for us ? “Nothing. Your parents buy you all the presents when you are at school or when you are not there. Also there is nothing such as magic. Reindeer can not have RED flashing noses. They can’t fly either.People Who Believe in Santa also force other people to believe in him too. I wonder why people believe in Santa. Maybe it is for fun.

My trip to Seattle – Part I

” Welcome to the Lambert St. Louis airport you’re flights number is 1414 you’re flying time is 3 hours and 5 minutes .” You probably can guess what that means yes you are right , that means that we’re in the St.Louis airport. I was really EXCITED ! I leaned back in my comfy seat and relaxed just then the engine started to ROARRRRrrrrrr I opened my suitcase and got my chewing gum out (so my ears won’t pop .) … ( the flight took a long time so, I’ll put more dots plus I don’t wanna talk about the flight .) …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… And finally the ride was - ”Welcome to the Seattle -Tacoma air port please remain seated until the seatbelt sign turns off , please enjoy your vacation in Seattle or Tacoma or elsewhere thank you .” over . whew glad that that was – ” Neha get your suitcase and follow daddy . ” Man was I busy I had no time to – Neha WATCH where you’re going ! Wow will I ever talk . What a big air port I was in it was HUMONGOUS ! I couldn’t wait to meet Krishnan periappa (or uncle. ) Was I having fun ! Then I went to the baggage claim area. That’s when I met Krishnan periappa . He told me that Aarthy periamma (or aunt ) was in the apartment . When we reached the apartment I talked a little and then went to bed . The next morning we stayed at home . Appa and krishnan perriappa went with me to the store. The next day , we all went to the air port to pick up JC and Aarthi chithi (or aunt .) Then we all went to a restaurant to eat lunch . After that, we went to OCEANSIDE ! (in case your wondering what Oceanside – It is a little town and we were going to stay in a cottage on the shore of the pacific ocean ! ) Finally we unpacked our suitcases or, should I say ocean cases . then we went on the deck and enjoyed the breeze I mean fog .It was also night time so we couldn’t see a thing, even things close to us . Then we all went around the inside of the cottage. There was a master bedroom , with a big window . there was a bathroom next to it .And that was all in a short hallway . then if you were standing near the master bedroom door , you would be looking at a washer and dryer . then you would turn to your left and walk BAM !!!!!!!!!!!!! you would hit the dining table. The dining table was in the kitchen . Then if you would nicely turn to your right, and walk you would be in the living room. in the living room there was one big black sofa and, one smallish striped sofa. And above that there was a huge window facing to the ocean . in the middle of the dining room and the living room, there was a deck . if you face the window , 3 yards behind you would be the front door, then turn to your right and there is another bathroom . then turn right again and there is the stair case , (there is a huge skylight above it , then up you go and turn to your left , there’s a bedroom and, right across from it is another bedroom and, I forgot to tell you that , near the window of the first bedroom upstairs was a little lounge bed. AND FINALLY THATS ALL IN THE COTTAGE !

Sad 4th of July

This 4th of July was OK. It was raining VERY VERY hard. I couldn’t play outside. It was VERY VERY gloomy. But I still had fun . Even though the fireworks are tomorrow I’m still happy. I’m only going to write this sentence in blue, the next sentences will be red. Isn’t it funny how I change colors and fonts ? I hope you are having a fun 4th of July, whoever reads this (except if you’re in India.) I just wanted to wish you a HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY !

I’M GETTING EVERYTHING I WANT !

I GOT THE TICKETS TO SEATTLE ! oops , sorry I’m shouting , I’m excited because I GOT THE TICKETS TO SEATTLE ! oops I think I’m too excited because I GOT THE TICKETS TO SEATTLE ! oops , I’d better calm down. Okay I’m better (hopefully ) because I GOT THE TICKETS TO SEATTLE okay one more time I got the tickets to Seattle ! Whew finally I said it so, i’ll go to the next thing which is i got my playset .

Oops no excitement I’ll try it again i got my playset . What ? you didn’t hear me ? i got my playset . okay I’ll try again I GOT MY PLAYSET !!!!!!! Did the windows break ? I’m sorry , I hope there’s a window doctor somewhere .

Okay getting back to my blog I got two exciting things which were said in the wrong way . I hope next time I DON’T SHOUT TOO LOUD !!!! my windows broke so I’ll talk to you after they are fixed . BYE !!!!!!!!!! ( now i really should talk later . )
