This is my review of the new movie, Journey 2.

Main character: Sean Anderson

Number of characters: 6 (not counting other Random people in the background)

Rated: PG for action and adventure

My rating: **** 1/2 ( four and a half stars)

I think Journey 2 was a good movie. It seemed a bit short to me, for some reason. There were a lot of scary scenes, because the people were on a mysterious island. The part where Hank made the berries bounce off his chest, was creepy. My age level for this movie would be age 6 and up, unless you are a really mature four year old (such as Tanya.) There were a few things that really couldn’t be true, such as: The high- tech”ness” of the nautilus. The nautilus was built in the 1800′s, not 2020! And, how could Shaun”s grandfather make all the things for his house? He’s only been on the mysterious island for 2 years, not 20! The part that I thought was surprising, was when I found out that Captain Nemo was Indian. My first thought was Nemo = fish, and nemo= not Indian name. But it was nice to find someone Indian in an american movie. Overall, the film was pretty good. Especially when you watch it on big screen (like I did.)

Giant snowballs

Today it finally snowed! I made giant snowballs by: making a small snowball,and rolling it,and rolling it,so on and so forth. I made 17 snowballs! One was so huge that it weighed more than me and Tanya put together! Daddy had to push it at the end. If you tipped it over,it would be MORE than 3 FEET HIGH ! Even though it was cold outside, I was sweating at the end!

My Sleepover

Yesterday I went to my friends house for a sleepover.It was fun. We gave my friend’s mom breakfast in bed.We gave her oranges , a banana,a muffin, a glass of orange juice,and some chocolate. After that, we my friend’s little sister’s made different zones . There is the tea zone,the working zone, the reading zone,the movie zone, the spa zone,the sitting zone, the sleeping zone,and the welcome zone.There’s a lot of zones, but the room is not huge.One of my friend’s little sister’s piggy bank woke me and my friends up because it made a weird noise and kept o saying feed me feed me .We finally fell asleep but the radio was on and it suddenly said cock – a – doodle – doo wake up ! It’s six- a- clock ! I freaked out and woke up . Then I finally fell back asleep again.Then we woke up at 7:44.We had chocolate and cheese croissants .We also had BAGELFULS , fruit, hot chocolate , and marshmallows. Then we made popsicles and blueberry muffins.Then we watched some of the nutcracker and played air hockey.Then my mom came and I had to go home.

Do you know what haiku is ? It is a type of poetry from Japan that does not have to rhyme. One famous haiku writer was Basho, he lived in Edo (Tokyo ),Japan. Here is an example of poetry I composed:

Happy Halloween ! I am so excited because we are so close to Halloween.I like Halloween because :

1.we get CANDY!

2.we get to dress up in costumes

3.because you get to go to parties

4.because for some reason , your parents are extra nice to you

5.sometimes you get to stay up late because you are still trick – or – treating

My new dollhouse

Guess what ! I have a new dollhouse ! It’s getting old because I got it a few days ago. Tanya really likes the dollhouse and (obviously ) so do I . There are 3 floors. On the first floor, there is a bathroom which has a toilet and a bathtub. The dollhouse has wallpaper that has a lot of extra stuff. On the wallpaper , there is a chair , 2 glass doors and shelves and everything in a bathroom . Then, next to it there is a kitchen. The kitchen has a dining table with 2 chairs . On the wallpaper there is a stove, a sink and a oven. Surprisingly, there is no refrigerator . On the 2nd floor , there is a huge sitting room with chairs, even on the wallpaper. On the 3rd floor, there is a bedroom and a balcony. There is a bed and a nightstand. On the terrace there is just wallpaper. Thanks for reading my blog !

Chicago trip

We are leaving from Chicago today . On friday , we saw the Willis (formerly Sears)tower and it was wonderful ! We went to sky deck ( wich is the 3 layered glass deck ) It is a wonderful view! Now I have to eat breakfast and I will later finish this on a new post.
